It may be that the damage to your foot is more severe than you thought which can be easily determined by a specialist. Your doctor can prescribe therapy sessions or corrective prophylactic to alleviate the pain that you are suffering from.

- Diet and Exercise – Foot pain can be prevented if you maintain proper diet and exercise. Managing weight can help reduce the stress you are putting on your feet while exercise helps in strengthening the muscles and bones of your body.

These are some examples of treatments that you can take advantage of when you experience pain on your foot. If you are injured, a trip to the hospital is needed to get the appropriate treatment. On the other hand, if you are suffering from mild foot pain only, it may be that you need compress and elevation to help the muscles on your feet to relax after being used the whole day.
